What Cardiodrome is
Cardiodrome is a simulator for education and training, with two modules. The first simulates a generic transvalvular microaxial flow pump, with schematic geometry and simplified console signals based on public regulatory documents. The second shows coronary angiography in standard views, on a schematic anatomy. Cardiodrome does not reproduce any manufacturer’s design, name or screens, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer, hospital or university.
No module is a medical device, and Cardiodrome is not for clinical use: do not use it to diagnose, treat, plan or guide procedures on real patients. Images, measurements, waveforms and alarms are simplified and may differ from those of real devices and patients. Console signals are fixed teaching values that depend only on the pump position and the P-level; the patient’s hemodynamics are not modeled. In clinical practice, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use, local protocols and supervised training.
